SAP MODULES AS A CAREER PATH

Learning the different SAP modules can provide you with a valuable career path.  Before you decide which modules you would like to specialize in, do your research.  What topics are you interested in?  More importantly though, which SAP modules are in high demand?  Is this a temporary demand, or a demand that will last throughout your career?  You also need to decide whether you are going to learn under an authorized SAP training partner or not.  This is only important if you plan on participating in SAP’s consultant certification program.  You can only sit for the certification exam if you have trained under SAP’s authorized training partners or if a partner company or your employer (as a SAP customer) registers you for the exam.  Please note, you do not need a SAP certification to get a job pertaining to SAP nor will obtaining this certification guarantee you employment.  This certification serves as a proof point of your knowledge to would-be employers.  Your work experience and professional recommendations can also demonstrate your proficiency with SAP modules.

SUMMARY

SAP AG has many modules that provide end to end solutions for business enterprises.  There are also many sub-modules within each general SAP module.  Learning and mastering these modules can help you secure a career in the business industry and give you a professional advantage.  SAP AG is always creating new modules and solutions for emerging business environments and new industries all the time.
