SAP Technical and Functional Consultants
Working on SAP, there requires two types of consultants
Functional and Technical Consultants-
Functional Consultant: Functional consultants are related with business process and configuration and are basically from non-technical background. Their main work is to understand the business process and make customization. Functional consultants are responsible for designing the SAP implemented solution based on company's requirement. Functional consultant is the one who can understand the business process of the client and map the requirement to meet by company.
Technical Consultant: Technical consultants are basically from development field means programmers. They have the very good technical knowledge. Technical consultant is the one who actually looking at the things like technical part of the software. These are the guys who integrate data from the legacy system to the new one. Technical consultants have to deal with the all coding requirement like if we are needed to add some fields in a table.
